At Tonacliffe, the welfare of the child is paramount. Everyone who comes in to contact with children and families has a role to play in safeguarding children and this includes all the staff at Tonacliffe. Schools are particularly well placed to observe outward signs of abuse, neglect, changes in behaviour and failure to develop. Parents should be aware, therefore that staff are obliged as part of Tonacliffe’s Child Protection Policy to report their concerns to Children’s Social Care immediately.

If there are any educational, medical or other problems you wish to discuss please contact your child’s teacher or Headteacher. Please also see the Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy below.
