Remote learning Key Stage 1 - Pink, White, Red Classes

We hope you are all well. Whilst you are isolating, you will find all the work for years 1 and 2 on this page. 

 

You are expected to complete 3-4 hours of work each day. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Reading

 

Your reading work is on Bug Club (please find the link below). It is important that you complete at least 15 minutes of reading each day - remember reading is the key to success.  

Literacy

Tuesday 8th February 

Use your plan to write the start of your non-chronological report. Write your title, introduction and caption for the picture. Now write your first sub-title and write some facts underneath. Remember to use capital letters and full stops. You may want to use the writing frame below. 

Wednesday 9th February

Continue with your non-chronological report. Write your next subtitle and some relevant facts. Remember to write in sentences. Once you have done this, go on to your last subtitle. You may want to use the writing frame below.

Maths

Safer Internet Day 2022

PSHE

Go through the powerpoint with your child all about the importance of washing your hands. Then complete the worksheet below. 

PE

Please can you make your own gymnastics routine including:

- balancing on one leg

- pencil roll (keep legs straight and together, keep body tight, roll turning from hips)

- travelling on hands and feet (hands on floor with flat palms and thumb pointing forward, good extension of arms)

 

Can you remember your routine and perform it to someone on your household? You can record your routine and send it into the homework email.

Please ask your class teacher for your 'Charanga' username and password and complete the lesson set for that week.
