Our Visit from the Fire Brigade
To end our topic on the Great Fire of London, we had a visit from the fire brigade.
This week in Forest school we have been learning all about the Great Fire of London. We have acted out putting out the fire to the house in London and explored the question " Why did the Great Fire of London spread so quickly?" The children enjoyed collecting buckets of water from the river Thames and throwing them on the houses. The children have also created some wonderful Mondrian art painting using mud paints.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
