Hello Red Class,
I hope you are all well. You are all amazing children and I know you will be able to get through this! Just remember to keep on working hard!
Remote learning for those who are working from home. Please find lessons and activities for home learning on the remote learning Key Stage 1 - Pink, White, Red Classes page.
Remote learning email address: redhw@tonacliffe.lancs.sch.uk
Please send in evidence of home learning daily so I am able to mark it and give you feedback. I love to see the work you are doing and it makes such a difference to your learning. The transition back into school is much smoother when children have completed this work at home. I am, however, aware that not all families have devices for children to use, particularly when there are siblings trying to complete their work and parents working from home. If this is the case, please get in touch and we will do all we can to help with this.
For key worker and vulnerable children, just a reminder that windows are open in class no matter the weather and it can become quite chilly, so layering up might be a good idea in the coming months.
I cannot wait to see you all again. Take care and stay safe.
Miss Riley
Please note: PE will be on a Thursday and Friday. Please come in kit on these days. However, please also see the new uniform policy as children are allowed to wear leggings/joggers and trainers every day.

Homework and Spellings
Spellings will be given out every Friday and tested the following Wednesday or Thursday. Nothing needs handing in for these.
Learning log homework will be given out at the beginning of each half term.
Children are also expected to read their home reading books every night. If they have read their books they can read any other books at home and take part in their READING CHALLENGE!
Can I please ask that you sign your child's reading diary so I know they have completed their reading homework.
Please make sure your contact details are up to date in case of emergency. We will try all numbers given in the case of an emergency if we cannot reach the first contact.
If you have any problems, please don't hesitate to contact me :)
