Welcome to our P.E. and Sports Premium Funding Page
P.E. is an integral part of our curriculum here at Tonacliffe. We ensure that all children take part in two, one hour sessions of P.E. each week (including swimming). As well as this, we are striving to ensure that all children take part in thirty minutes of physical activity every day. We understand how P.E. and physical activity aid health (including mental health) and well-being. Our teachers are role models, ensuring that all children understand how important physical activity is.
All children must have a full P.E. kit in school every day as timetables change. This is:
Black shorts
White T-shirt
Joggers or tracksuit bottoms
Jumper, hoody or jacket
Trainers
Children must also remove earrings or bring plasters to cover them.
Children who are swimming need:
Swimming costume or trunks
Towel
Swimming cap for long hair whether boy or girl.
Please see the links below for our philosophy, policy and long term plans.
